Educational Qualification
A Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) from a recognized University/Institute is required. Applicants holding DNB in broad specialties as their essential qualifying education must provide documentary evidence of its equivalence with MD/MS. For the Department of Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank specifically, the qualification required is MD (Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank) or DNB (Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank).

Eligibility with regard to age, educational qualification, and experience will be determined as on the date the candidate appears in the interview/written test examination.

Selection Process
Selection is through an Interview/Written Test Examination conducted department-wise. The date of the interview will be notified later on the AIIMS Deoghar website.
Eligible candidates must report to the Registrar Office, Administrative Block, 4th Floor, AIIMS Deoghar on the notified interview date with original documents, photocopies of relevant documents, and one passport-size colour photograph. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the interview.

- Date of Birth and Class X and XII Certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- SC/ST/EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/OPH certificate from the competent authority, if applicable
- MBBS mark sheets and degree certificate
- Attempt certificates
- MBBS internship completion certificate
- MD/MS/DNB mark sheets and degree certificate
- Medical Registration Certificate (UG and PG) from MCI/State Medical Council
- NOC from present employer, if employed in a Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Private institution
- Experience certificate(s) of previous institutions, if any
- FMGE certificate conducted by NBE (for foreign medical graduates)
- Copies of any other relevant documents (publications, awards, fellowships, patents, books/chapters authored, etc.)

The candidates must download the Offline Application Form from the official AIIMS Deoghar website.
Fill the form completely, mentioning the department applied for. Paste one recent, self-attested passport-size colour photograph on the form. Attach one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents listed above. Attach the Demand Draft (DD) for the applicable application fee, drawn in favour of 'AIIMS Deoghar,' payable at AIIMS Deoghar.
