Allahabad University is seeking a Junior Research Assistant (JRA) with essential qualifications of B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st April of the year in which the application is submitted.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential qualification: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science with first class in both UG and PG examinations. Desirable qualification: GATE/NET/JRF/PhD candidates. The applicant should be an Indian citizen and a resident of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates with experience in nanocomposite material synthesis will be preferred.

Salary / Stipend
For the first two years, the fellowship is Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated). For the third year, the fellowship is Rs. 28,000/- per month (consolidated).

General Information / Instructions
The appointment is purely on a temporary (contractual) basis and will terminate automatically without any notice on termination of the research project. Initially, the appointment is for one year, which will be renewed for subsequent years based on performance and recommendation of the PI and Co-PI.
