A degree in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent. Essential qualifications: Knowledge of reading and writing Hindi in Devnagari script.

Two years experience as a technical personnel in the design, construction, erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of boilers or in the implementation of the Boilers Act, 1923 and rules and regulations framed thereunder.

Selection based on interview (100 marks) and educational qualification (100 marks). Educational marks distribution: Matric - 10, Intermediate/+2 - 20, Graduation - 60, Postgraduate - 10. Shortlisting if applications exceed: Average percentage from Matric to required qualification, call 5 times vacancies for interview. Document verification before interview. Medical examination after interview, fee 16 rupees. Tie-breaker: Age, then alphabetical order in Devnagari script.
