The Department of Animal Husbandry HP is inviting applications for the position of Multi Task Worker (Pashu Mitra) with a total of 14 vacancies. The essential qualification required is Matric (10th) from a recognized institution in Himachal Pradesh, with a monthly salary of Rs. 5,000. The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential Qualification: The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Matric (10th) from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. The condition of passing 10th from Himachal School shall not be applicable to Bonafide Himachali.
  • Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Animal Husbandry Activities
  • Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.

Stage-I: Physical Test - The candidate should be able to carry 25 Kg. weight up to 100 meters within one minute. The applications should reach in the office of Senior Veterinary Officer of the respective Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital on or before 3rd February 2026 at 4:00 PM positively. The candidate will have to apply for appointment as 'Pashu Mitra' on application form as per annexure-A alongwith self attested photocopies of below mentioned documents.
