The DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory- Artificial Intelligence (DYSL-AI) is recruiting for the position of Junior Research Fellow with 2 vacancies. Candidates should possess a graduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant field, along with NET qualification. A stipend of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA is offered, making this an excellent opportunity for eligible applicants.

Age Limit

Upper age limit: 28 years as on the date of interview. Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate degree in professional course (B.E/B.TECH) in first division with NET/GATE
  • Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.E/M.TECH) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level
  • Post graduate degree in Basic Science in first division with NET Qualification

Desirable Qualification

  • Strong fundamentals in problem solving, algorithm design and complexity analysis
  • Expert in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, C++ or similar)
  • Knowledge of classical AI algorithms, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques is strongly desirable.
  • Proven experience with software libraries such PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, TensorRT, PyTorchMobile.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of speech and language technology, including speech recognition and natural language understanding/ NLP/ Machine Translation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of 3D Vision and Simultaneous Mapping and Localization (SLAM), ROS.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Computer Vision including Generative Models.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Reinforcement Learning.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE score/percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree. The short listed candidates will be required to appear for personal/on-line interview.
