- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or Technology (Mechanical) for Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), Class-2
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Electrical and Electronics or Technology (Electrical) for Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Class-2
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) for Assistant Engineer (Civil), Class-2
