The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has released 246 vacancies for the post of X-Ray Technician, Class 3 under the Health and Family Welfare Department. Eligible candidates must hold a B.Sc. degree and a recognized X-Ray Technician course. Online applications start from 15 June 2026 and close on 29 June 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the following conditions as of 29 June 2026:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized university.
2. Completion of the X-Ray Technician course from a recognized institution.
3. Basic computer knowledge as outlined under Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967.
4. Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed pay basis for the first five years at ₹40,800/- per month, after which they will transition to the regular pay scale of ₹35,400/- to ₹1,12,400/- (Level 6, 7th CPC).
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a written examination followed by document verification. The written exam consists of two parts: Part A (Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, etc.) and Part B (Technical Subject). Minimum qualifying marks are 40% in both parts.
