Para Pump Operators, MTS and Para Fitters Recruitment 2026 – HP Jal Shakti Vibhag

Minimum age: 18 years. Maximum age: 45 years. Age is calculated as on 31 July 2026. This age criterion applies to all three posts - Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter, and Multipurpose Worker.

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the trade of Electrician/Wireman/Diesel mechanic/Pump mechanic/Motor mechanic/Pump operator cum mechanic from a recognized ITI, or matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-cited trades under the Skill Development scheme of the Government.

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in the trade of Fitter from a recognized ITI institute, or matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-cited trade under the Skill Development scheme of the Government.

Para Pump Operator: ₹7,100 per month, Para Fitter: ₹7,100 per month, Multipurpose Worker: ₹6,000 per month. Working hours for the selected incumbent shall be 6 hours per day.

The total selection process is based on 10 marks, distributed among various criteria including percentage of marks/grades, BPL family income, experience, and skill tests.
