The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is recruiting for the position of Medical Officer with 232 vacancies. Candidates must hold an MBBS degree, and applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 45. This important recruitment drive aims to fill various categories of posts including reserved categories.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates Should Posses MBBS Recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The holders of educational qualification included in part-II of the third schedule should fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Desirable Qualification
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- A Post graduate qualification from a recognized institution as mentioned in Appendix-A.
- Knowledge of customs, manners & dialects of Himachal Pradesh & suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
