The Indian Air Force is inviting applications for the Agniveervayu Non-Combatant positions under the Agnipath Scheme for Intake 01/2027. Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 are eligible, with a maximum age limit of 22 years at the time of enrolment. Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. If a candidate clears all stages of the selection procedure, the upper age limit as on the date of enrolment should be 22 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveervayu Non-Combatant. Candidates must give an undertaking not to marry during the four-year engagement period. Any Agniveervayu Non-Combatant who marries during this period will be dismissed from service. General Disqualifications
Consumption of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (banned under the NDPS Act 1985) is a rejection criterion for selection, and a ground for disciplinary action including dismissal if found after enrolment. Salary and Benefits
Agniveervayu Non-Combatant recruited under this scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment, along with risk and hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), dress and travel allowances, and perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation, and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) as per existing rules.

Download the blank application form and the other required certificates/forms. Fill the application form as per the format hosted on the web portal; applications not in this format will be rejected.
Documents Required
- Class 10th/Matriculation mark sheet and Class 10th passing certificate
- A recent passport-size colour photograph (not older than six months)
- Consent certificate signed by parents/legal guardian, for candidates below 18 years of age; candidates above 18 years must sign a self-consent certificate
- A self-addressed envelope with a ten-rupee stamp affixed
Selection Process
Candidates whose applications are accepted will be issued admit cards for the written test, which will state the date, location, and time of the test. The selection process has four phases: Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Stream Suitability Test (SST), and Medical Examination.
