- Scientist-C (Non-Medical): Masters from a recognized University in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences Or Pharm-D degree recognized by UGC/PCI.
- Scientist-B (Medical): MBBS or equivalent degree recognised by MCI/NMC.
- Scientist-B (Non-Medical): Masters from a recognised University in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences Or Pharm-D degree recognized by UGC/PCI.
