Junior Technician Recruitment 2026 – IIIT Bhopal

Upper age limit: 27 years for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Technician. Age relaxation is admissible as per Government of India norms/rules; no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates applying against UR vacancy.

Essential Qualification: Diploma in Engineering / Bachelor’s degree OR ITI with 2 years’ experience for the post of Junior Technician. Experience (where applicable): Candidates with ITI must possess a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as specified. Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India. Other Requirements: Candidates must upload mark sheets, certificates, degrees and relevant experience documents, and produce originals at the time of document verification and joining.

The post of Junior Technician carries the pay scale PB-1: 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2000 (Pay Level – 3 as per 7th CPC). The pay of the selected candidate will be fixed as per Government of India rules applicable to the post.

The selection process may comprise a test followed by an interview; detailed information will be provided in due course. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for test/interview based on qualifications, salary, relevance of experience and other academic achievements exceeding the minimum eligibility. Mere fulfillment of essential qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview; shortlisting criteria may be applied.
