Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in mathematics, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong foundation in discrete mathematics and algorithms.
  • Interest in algebra, number theory, or theoretical computer science.
  • Familiarity with abstract algebra, computational complexity and symbolic computation is useful but not essential.
  • Comfortable with reading and writing proofs.
  • Interest in pursuing a PhD.
  • NET/GATE is required (relaxable for CFTI graduates with CGPA >8.000).
