Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has announced the recruitment of 1 Junior Research Fellow Post. Candidates with relevant B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech qualifications are eligible to apply. The selected candidate will receive a pay scale of Rs. 37,000 plus HRA, and the application deadline is 26 January 2026.

Candidates must be within the prescribed age limit as per the project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- M. Tech in ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) with specialization in Signal Processing, Communication Systems or equivalent with CGPA ≥ 8.0 (Out of 10)
- OR B.E. / B. Tech in ECE (Electrical Engineering) with CGPA ≥ 7.5 (Out of 10)
- GATE/CSIR-UGC NET Qualification: Candidates (General or OBC) must have qualified GATE/CSIR-UGC NET examination.
- Nationality: Applications are invited from Indian nationals only.
- Required Skills: Candidates must possess coding skills in Python and MATLAB along with a strong background in signal and image processing.
