Eligibility Criteria
- Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) & Trade Apprentice (Boiler): B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- Technician Apprentice - Chemical: Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- Technician Apprentice - Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- Technician Apprentice - Instrumentation: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- No prior apprenticeship in the same trade; minimum 1 year gap if previous apprenticeship in different trade
- For Technician Apprentice posts, no job experience of 1 year or more after obtaining qualification

Selection is based on the percentage of marks in descending order in the prescribed qualification. Preference is given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time.
