Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced the recruitment for 2026 for Apprentice positions across four refinery units, offering a total of 1,524 seats. Candidates with qualifications in various trades such as Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical among others can apply online from 29 June 2026 until 28 July 2026. The selection will be based solely on merit from prescribed qualifying examinations.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have already passed the prescribed qualification as on 30 June 2026. Results awaited candidates are not eligible. Candidates holding BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA, or equivalent higher professional qualifications are not eligible.

Age Limit
Candidates aged 18 to 24 years as on 30 June 2026 can apply. Age will be verified only through the Matriculation (Class X) certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education.
Application Fee
The IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification does not mention any application fee for any category.
Selection Process
There is no written test for the IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026. Selection for all four refinery units is entirely merit-based, with the merit list prepared on the basis of aggregate percentage of marks in the prescribed qualifying examination.
How to Apply
The application process is a two-step online process. Step I includes registering and applying on the NAPS or NATS portal. Step II requires submitting additional information via Microsoft Forms. Both steps must be completed for a valid application.
