Eligibility Criteria
- Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry). Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD for reserved seats) from recognized Board/University.
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class. Only regular full time ITI course recognized by NCVET/SCVT.
- Technician Apprentice (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation): 3 years Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline. Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD for reserved seats) from recognized Institute.
- Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator: Class XII pass (Code 110 - Fresher apprentices without prior training). Class XII pass with Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator (Code 111).

Selection Process
Merit based on percentage of marks in descending order (aggregate of marks of all subjects of all years/semesters in prescribed qualification). Preference given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time. In case of tie: Date of birth (senior by age) considered. If same date of birth: Higher percentage of marks in Matriculation considered.
