Metallurgical and Engineering Consultants (MECON) is seeking to recruit an Engineer (Electrical) with one vacancy available. Candidates should hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering and possess a minimum of 13 years of relevant post-qualification experience. The position offers a salary of Rs. 80,910/- per month on a Full Time Fixed Tenure basis.

Age Limit
Maximum 50 years for the post as on 12/12/2025, with applicable relaxations as per Government norms. Upper age limit for General and EWS candidates is 50 years for the post, with relaxation of 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 5 years for SC/ST, and additional relaxations for PwD, J&K domicile and Ex-servicemen as per Government of India guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering acquired through Regular/Full Time course from Universities/Institutes recognized by Government or accredited by bodies like UGC/AICTE. The required post-qualification experience must be in execution of Electrical works at site for Building construction or industrial projects, with minimum 13 years of full time experience as on 12/12/2025....

Salary/Stipend
Engineer (Electrical) will receive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 80,910/- per month. In addition to consolidated pay, selected candidates are eligible for metro/site allowance (if posted at metro or project site), subsidized accommodation if available or HRA in lieu, medical facilities, PF, Leave and GPA as per company rules for contract employees. Application Fee
UR, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/-. SC, ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen category candidates and internal candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Selection Process
