Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must be a citizen of India. Non-MP-domicile candidates may apply only under the Unreserved (Open) category, with no reservation or age-relaxation benefit, and a flat maximum age of 33 years. A candidate with more than 2 living children, one of whom was born on or after 26 January 2001, is not eligible (with an exception where a single subsequent delivery results in twins/multiple births)...

Salary Structure
All Subedar and Sub Inspector cadre posts (SAF, DEF, Arms, Photo, QD, Finger Print) carry Pay Level 9: ₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800. During the 3-year probation period, stipend is payable at 70% of minimum pay in year 1, 80% in year 2, and 90% in year 3, plus other allowances as approved by the government from time to time.
Selection Process
Selection is conducted in a two-stage process involving a Preliminary Written Exam followed by a Main Exam, Physical Efficiency Test, and Interview. The Preliminary Exam will be objective type, and the Main Exam will consist of compulsory and technical papers.
