The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) is recruiting for 2 positions of Field Officer. Eligibility Criteria

  • Master of Social Work / MSc Psychology.
  • Fluency in English and Kannada is essential.
  • Research experience in suicide prevention will be considered an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Telugu and Hindi languages will be considered an added advantage.
  • Experience in Excel and Google spreadsheets will be considered an added advantage.

Selection Process

Walk-in selection with written/skill test. Resume, original marks cards, original testimonials, and set of photocopies will be reviewed at the time of interview. Candidates are required to register their names half an hour before commencement of the written/skill test.

General Information / Instructions

NIMHANS is conducting a walk-in selection to fill the post of Field Officer on a contract basis for the project 'Youth Mental Health and Self-Harm Study (YASHAS)' funded by the Indira Foundation. Initial appointment will be made for six months and will be extendable every six months till the end of the 1-year project, depending on performance and project requirements.
