National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) Kanpur is inviting applications for the position of Guest Faculty for various trades under CITS and CTS schemes. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and experience, with opportunities available based on trade-specific eligibility. This is a temporary engagement with a pay of Rs. 250/hour for CITS and Rs. 200/hour for CTS.

The minimum age for all trades is 21 years as on 01 August 2026. No upper age limit is specified in the notification.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for NSTI Kanpur Guest Faculty posts is trade-specific. Broadly, each trade accepts candidates through one of four routes: a relevant Degree/B.Voc with CITS and post-CITS experience, a relevant Diploma with CITS and post-CITS experience, an Ex-serviceman equivalency route through DGR, or an NTC/NAC qualification with CITS and longer post-CITS experience.

Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of a Written Test and a Skill Test. The tentative examination date will be published on the institute website and communicated via email.
