The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is inviting applications for contractual teaching positions including PGTs, TGTs, Skill Teachers, and Female Staff Nurse for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications, and the total number of vacancies is not fixed, based on requirements across various Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as mentioned in the guidelines. JNVs are fully residential schools; selected staff must reside in the Vidyalaya campus and perform residential duties. Essential Qualifications for PGTs include a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks + B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution. Vacancy Details

Vacancies are not fixed. NVS Chandigarh Region is inviting applications for the empanelment of teachers and Female Staff Nurse for various Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas under the region. The number of engagements will depend on the actual requirement in JNVs. Separate panels will be prepared for PGTs, TGTs, Skill Teachers, and Female Staff Nurse.
