The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a recruitment drive for 01 part-time Banks Medical Consultant position. Eligible candidates with an MBBS degree and minimum two years of experience are encouraged to apply online. The application period runs from November 26, 2025, until December 12, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum MBBS from an MCI-recognized university in allopathic system. Applicants with post graduate degree in General Medicine may also apply.
Minimum two years’ experience in hospital or clinic practice.
Must reside or have dispensary within 3–5km radius of RBI office, Agartala.
Post is for unreserved/open category only.
Fixed hourly remuneration; contract will not be renewed after 3 years.

Salary Structure
Rs. 1000 per hour, Rs. 1000 per month conveyance, Rs. 1000 per month mobile charges, paid monthly; subject to tax deduction at source. No pension, PF or gratuity benefits; contract basis remuneration only.

Selection Process
Shortlisting based on eligibility and discretion of RBI.
Interview for eligible candidates, may raise eligibility standards to limit number of candidates called.
Final selection: medical tests (at candidate’s expense) and acceptance of terms/code of conduct before appointment.
