Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for TGT and PGT posts must fulfil the educational qualification and age criteria mentioned in the recruitment notification.

Qualification for TGT

Graduate from a recognized university in the respective subject with at least 50% marks. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE recognized institution. OR Four-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution. Medium-specific eligibility conditions apply for relevant subjects.

Qualification for PGT

Post Graduation in the respective subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE recognized institution. OR Post Graduate with B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution. For PGT posts, candidates must have postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject with the required teaching qualification.
