Forester, Forest Guard Recruitment 2026 – Tripura Forest Department

18-40 years as on 01 May 2026. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is admissible for SC/ST candidates and Government employees.

Forest Guard: Madhyamik (Class 10) passed or equivalent. Forester: Higher Secondary (+2 Stage) passed or equivalent. Desirable: Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok.

Applicants must possess Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).

Minimum Height (cm) for Male (UR & SC): 163, ST: 152; for Female (UR & SC): 150, ST: 145. Minimum Chest Girth (cm): Male: 79, Female: 74. Normal Expansion: 5 cm. Distance to be covered on foot in 4 hours: Male: 25 Km, Female: 16 Km.

Selection will be done through Written Examination (85% marks) and Interview (15% marks). Candidates securing cut-off marks in the written test will be called for an interview. Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
