Age is reckoned as on 01 July 2026. For most posts, candidates must be born between 02 July 1984 and 01 July 2005; for the Sahayak Lekhakar/Kanishtha Sampreekshak (Jal Sansthan) post, candidates must be born between 02 July 1984 and 01 July 2008.
Age Relaxation
- General (Most Posts): 21 to 42 years
- Sahayak Lekhakar/Kanishtha Sampreekshak (Jal Sansthan): 18 to 42 years
- SC / ST / OBC (Uttarakhand domicile): 5 years relaxation in upper age limit
- Divyang (PwD) candidates: 10 years relaxation in upper age limit
- Freedom Fighter's Dependents: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit
- Ex-Servicemen: Actual age reduced by length of armed forces service, subject to conditions specified in the notification

| Sahayak Lekhakar (UJVN Ltd.) | Graduation in Commerce from a recognized university; proficiency in Hindi or English typing at 4000 KDPH on computer |
| Sahayak Lekhakar (Tourism Development Board) | Bachelor's degree in Commerce or PG Diploma in Accountancy; O-Level Diploma in Computer Operation from a recognized institution |
| Sahayak Lekhakar/Kanishtha Sampreekshak (Jal Sansthan) | Graduate degree in Commerce or BBA or PG Diploma in Accountancy; Hindi typing speed of 4000 KDPH |
| Sahayak Lekhakar (Bridgekul) | B.Com and minimum 3 years' experience in the relevant field |
